Hey, I'd also shake my head at this. Do it once (probably in the Fall) and be good!

I change all fluids every spring. But that's because I hit about 10 track events a season. I know some people who change them every other of every few events on their cars. So in comparison, I guess I don't do it that often.

Lol.
Yeah. Come spring I'll change out the fluids. Hindsight, I should have done it in the fall so it didn't sit with old oil all winter. I barely drove it last year so I figured I'd do it in the spring

I change all of the fluids mid-winter every year. I also send a sample of each out for analysis at the same time.

This is why one asks! Thanks for the input. I'll save my $$$ to ensure brakes and tires are fresh (not 100% sure of their status, since I bought in September in Toronto).

Don't forget to check the air pressure in your spare tire, or the expiration date on your fix a flat can.

Pulled it out of storage on Friday. The storage facility (really great local people) found that my car had a right rear tire go flat over the winter. They put air in it and moved it (they had a key) to the front of the warehouse building.

When I got there, the tires looked fine. JB (Jonathan) Saul took me down to go get it. Upon his inspection, he uncovered a bubble on the side wall of my Pilot Super Sport tires on the right front. JB says the other three tires have tons of life left (tire dates of 2014), with no dry rot.

So, it's off to find a pair (I'm still offset) of tires. The usual suspects (Tire Rack, Tire Discounters, etc.) will be contacted to find the best price, When I get them mounted, I'll have the brakes inspected. The Dragon takes no pity to those with worn brake pads.

Where do you send them to? Blackstone?

Yeah there is no need to change the oil twice, especially if it only sits for a couple months. Any moisture gets burnt off really quick and you would have needed to start it to warm it up and do the OC as well. I too get Blackstone reports and I once asked them what is best changing prior, after, or both and they sorta laughed at me and said none of them really matter. They see thousands of samples so I trust their expertise when it comes to oil.
