Default Route 26 Planning Thread

So I'm looking at putting together another Route 26 drive late summer/early fall.

This time I'd like to do the older 2 day version. First day would be meet up at Salt Fork State Park for lunch. From there we would take a nice drive down Route 26 to Marietta where we would check in to the hotel (for those doing the two days). Afterwards we would get some dinner and drinks and catch up.

Sunday morning would be waking up and leaving around 10am. We could either go back up 26, or head over and back up route 555. This should give everybody enough time to grab some lunch after the drive and get home by a decent hour.

What I'm look for from you guys, is picking a weekend and if there is any interest in doing the two day relaxed vs all in one day. I'm thinking mid to end of September. I know school will have started back up, but August is pretty busy and we also have the big Mid Ohio weekend. This will give us so recovery time.

Please note, The Vintage Tomcatt Run is mid June. You are more than welcome to join them. Some of us qualify as "pre Vintage" https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-vi...-18-a-1168606/

I'm possibly interested in exploring and meeting some fellow s2k dudes.

2 day event should work well, there's enough driving roads in the area to keep us occupied.

As more of a novice driver, I'd prefer a more relaxed 2 day drive versus the 1 day, so that's my vote. Date wise, my entire September is open right now so any of those weekends should work.

I'm with NeutralSteer on the 2 day drive as well as availability in September.

I'm in for this year. September should be good with me as well. Although the group was small last year, we had a really good time. Hopefully we can get a few more out this year.

My plans to show up to these always get ruined, but I'd love to make it.
