Default Stolen SnapOn tools

Attention all: On Sunday night my brothers 240 was broken into. They stole roughly $4000 worth of Snap-On tools. The tools were stolen from Clayton Ohio. Im assuming they will most likely be sold on craigslist locally or eBay. I have a list that ill upload later of everything that was stolen. If you guys see anybody selling an unusually large amount of snapon tools in the Dayton/Cincy/Columbus region I'd appreciate it if you could PM me. The tools were roughly 5 months old. To my knowledge the car that the thief was driving was reported stolen. If anybody gives information directly leading to getting the tools back and/or the arrest of the individual you will be compensated. Thanks!

The license plate number was FNH 5739 Maroon Pontiac Montana.

I was a bit confused by this as well..

Just to clarify.. the 240 was the car that the tools were broken into.. the car that was reported to have been seen with the stolen goods was a maroon Pontiac Montana?

Ugh.. hope they find them.... If I see anything, I'll definitely send PM..

Yea the car that was used to steal the tools was a maroon pontiac montana. My brother got the license plate and the car came back as reported "stolen" by the owner.

Not to be a smartass but why would someone leave that much money in tools locked up in a car and I would assume not in a garage ?

My brother works at Nissan and was transporting them back to his toolbox. He just finished engine swapping his car and needed his tools. Hindsight he should have put them in before work in the morning, but I guess I can't really blame him for doing it the night before.

Interesting that, I assume, his car wasn't burglarized until after someone saw him loading tools into it. Or maybe it was just coincidence? ... NOT

honestly I think that they were going to steal his car and happened upon the tools and realized theres more money in tools. The tools were loaded at a different house. Not saying its out of the question
