Ah I'm running a bit narrower in the front:

215/45ZR-17 MICHELIN PILOT SUPER SPORT XL
245/40ZR-17 MICHELIN PILOT SUPER SPORT XL

And yeah, I think the Porsche designated ones are OEM fitments on one of their vehicles, but if Tire Rack says they'll fit, you should be good to go. They may just be slightly more expensive. You're welcome to take my car out for a spin once I take it out of storage if you are considering going with the narrower PSS.

^ agree.
I have no wheels yet but I'm thinking these might be pretty high on the list given the current options available. Still pissed they went the wrong direction in my opinion with the Re71s

this is it.

My other reason toing from extreme to max performance summer tire (based on tire rack rankings) is that I'm doing more cruising relaxed drives now instead of near limit driving. The quieter ride and longer tread life will be appreciated.

Full report as soons as its aligned and we get some more rain to finish cleaning off the salt on the roads.
