It's that time again! :woot: Who's ready for some good food, good friends and good times? :hello: When and where is our next dinner meet gonna be?

When: Saturday, September 15 @ :shrug: 6:00 PM (be at Buy4Less at 5:30 PM, we will leave Buy4Less at 6:00 PM which should put us at Eischen's around 6:45 PM)
Where: Eischen's Bar, 109 N 2nd St, Okarche
Everyone is responsible for their own food, beverage and gratuity expenses. Being a large group, don't be surprised if an automatic 17+% gratuity is added to your bill (this is typical in the restaurant industry).

:shout: Eischen's does not take credit cards so bring cash monies.

Next weekend would work for me. Saturday or Sunday. The following weekend (21-22), I'll be in Texas for DW at the Global Time Attack event.

Sept 15th or 29th maybe?!?!?!?!?!? The Shack looks cool but Eischen's looks like a "funner" drive. LOL Will be my first meet with you all, so I'm just a little excited.

Ah the chicken place! Anyone around saturday the 22nd? I will have completed a big work project on friday and a drive saturday would be awesome to celebrate!

Im down but the fair is in town and I will prob be attending it saturday evening so I cant do it late, it would have to be lunch/semi-late lunch for me to attend.

15th's good for me. I'll be bringing a guest and Rhonda (Yup I'm that dorky!)-that's my S2K. Route looks great, whatever has the least stop lights.

^ Good point on avoiding traffic lights. :iagree: I'm not familiar with OKC at all so you all will have to decide that.

Thanks for all the votes so far! Looks like the 15th is in the lead right now but I'll leave the poll open for the rest of today.

That route does not have avoidance of traffic lights in mind. N. Grand is a historical road and has lots to look at.

If you want to just go to Eischen's, we could just meet at the Buy4Less on NWE and Hefner Parkway and drive straight there. I thought a winding route that was relaxed would be more suited for top-down driving.

OIC. Yeah that'd be great if there's no traffic or a small group of us but with a group our size and traffic being unpredictable, we'd probably end up getting split up so the Buy4Less sounds like a better idea to me.

Yes I agree...I know how to get there but I think it would be more fun to drive in all together. Less traffic= no one gets lost

I think the Buy 4 Less location is a great idea!!! I mean I know my way there, but I wouldnt want anyone to get seperated

Wow, this is gonna be a close call. Maybe we should do it on both the 15th AND the 29th. :shrug:

I will say this (and it was not my intention...but I kinda just noticed), the route I mapped out avoids a majority of the traffic lights on NWE.

It's 2 of 1, half a doze of the other. At least with the initial route...you get to see the Capitol, N. Grand Blvd., and Lake Hefner. We could always have a pause at NWE and Kilpatrick Turnpike to collect any stragglers.

Please do it around 1 or 2 at the latest!!!!

I always say later the better. I don't like the heat. Top would be up if its going to be out out. After you are done with this poll, you should put a poll up for what time. 12ish, 2ish, 4ish, 6ish, or 7ish

Would said pause restrict the flow of traffic? Doesn't really look like there's anywhere to safely pull over to regroup (like a parking lot, not just a shoulder) near that intersection.

Ok. First post updated. It's going down THIS Saturday, September 15. What time? :shrug: That's still up in the air. I also just added a poll within the Facebook event listing in regards to which route we should take. Thanks for the suggestions, Chris. :tipwink:

FYI, according to news9 last night, saturday is supposed to be rain in the AM, small break mid afternoon, and the more rain in the evening.
