Stay away from the shell station on 41st and Yale. Filled up there last month and must of had some water in the gas or the octane level wasn't correct. Had the Knock control on my AEM going crazy. I've been filling up at QT now and haven't had a problem, so don't get all into the "no ethanol" hype. Most of those stations that advertise "100% gas" are usually small gas stations that probably don't take care of there tanks and gas dispensers the way they should. The quality of the gas is much more important than what is made from.

Apparantly so, the banner is back up.

I see your point s2knoob, but I would think a big chain gas station would have quality gas. I would understand if "Mom and Pop" gas station had bad quality gas.

For those interested in 93 octane gas in OKC area, I talked to Red Rock (fuel distributor) and they have no alcohol 93 octane (along with other race fuels including Methanol) at $4.75/gal. They are located 100 yards west of N. Santa Fe & NW 50th Street.

Red Rock also supplies no alcohol 93 octane to Bolins (NW 63rd & Western). I drove by & the price was a whopping $5.35/gal.

They also supply JR's (or Junior's) gas station at 23rd & Douglas. I have not been there to check out their prices.

Just filled up at JR today, $3.85, I've been using them all year, never went over $4.23.

Both 7-11 and Conoco at the corner of Hefner and May in The Village/OKC have 100% gas. Conoco is all E0, 7-11 has dual pumps with 87 E10 on one side and 87/89/91 E0 on the other.

7-11's E0 prices are only a few cents more than E10 as well, so it's nice not paying Conoco's +30 cents anymore.
