Went to thunder valley last night. It's no where near as fun as autox, but I was bored.
My best time was a 13. I couldn't figure out how to launch it correctly. (too scared to blow my diff.) I acctually almost stalled it once. I went from about 4k to 1.5k at the launh and Cindy said people could tell I almost stalled because they were talking crap... oh well.
I would have made an AWESOME run on one of them... my R/T was .071!!! But I missed a shift and got a 14.2.
LOL, even missing a shift I still beat an SRT-4 with atleast a loud exhaust. I'm just glad I didn't have the slowest car out there.
Seeing as this is my first time going down the 1/4 and only getting to go 3 times, I think I did fairly well. I'll do better next time.
I've got a few more expensive goodies on the car. But the biggest thing I've done is this.....
I've only cut the one in the middle so far. It really helps a lot with heat. I really don't like the ricer mesh but I can't find any with just the round holes in it around here.
hey brandon you should play with the clutch while your coming off a launch at the line. kinda let off slowly until you feel your car getting traction and not choking on its face, then fully engage the clutch. i did it to my s at the track and works pretty good off the line. but you made lose some life in yours clutchs thats all. still want to buy my hood? i see you already cut your hood huh?
