Tech Day with MM3Kwolik
First of all, for those who don't know who MM3Kwolik (Jordan) is, let me just say that he is an active and reputable individual here on S2KI and has vast knowledge of S2000s, much like Billman250. He recently moved from Nashville, TN to McKinney, TX and is coming to Tulsa on Sunday, May 8 (that happens to be Mother's Day, FYI).
If your car needs work done, come prepared with any necessary parts and/or fluids. This will be an incredible learning experience for some/most and definitely a fun day for all. We can accomplish tasks like fluid changes (engine oil, transmission, differential, brake, clutch), serpentine belt and spark plug replacements, rear axle nut retorquing, coolant flush, and even valve adjustments. If your car is a 2006 model or newer and has never had a valve adjustment, this is a must. If you plan on having MM3Kwolik adjust your valves, plan to arrive early enough to allow time for the car to cool.
So if your car needs some maintenance done, be sure to order your parts and/or fluids ASAP. If you don't need anything done, you're welcome to just want to watch, hang out, and learn.
I still have to figure out where this will take place. Anybody interested in hosting? It will need to end around 5pm so that MM3Kwolik+1 can get back to Texas at a decent hour.
5/7/2016 update: Tech Day will begin at 1pm. dirtys2000 will be hosting (PM me or him for his address). The only item on the agenda is an Inner CV joint (axle bucket) swap.
