Default Is your "S" to drive or just modify & look at?

Haven't been on a group drive in a long time. Anybody been on the road to know the condition of some of our better twistie routes?

Sorry I couldn't make DirtyBirds Pig Trail Day, any chance you'll be going again in the near future?

And JulieU, didn't you say the Taimena drive had some rough roads this year.

Anybody driving these days? Where is all the fun, I'm out of the loop.

I know there are dinner meets to go to but it sounds like everybody is doing a direct route to a restaurant, and direct routes back home. I enjoy seeing everybody at these events but why are we not combining them with drives?

AND while I'm thinking about it, I enjoy visiting with all of you at the dinner meets but because of the acoustics in most of the restaurants I find it hard to join you in conversation due to some hearing loss. So that is my reason why I look clueless half the time and you can fill in the blank on why I'm clueless the other half.

Talimena sucks. Hwy 90 is getting rough but is still fun (took the daily on a small portion of it over the weekend). I believe I saw mpetus post on FB not too long ago about Pig Trail; he said that there was some big biker event going on and that the road was crawling with people and police. With summer in full swing, I'm thinking it'd be best to avoid highways that run alongside rivers that people float (e.g. Scenic 10 along the Illinois, Pig Trail along the Mulberry) because chances are good that you'll end up behind a bus full of river-goers and their flotation devices (rafts, canoes, kayaks)... unless of course you're there to float too... which I think would be a ton o' fun, i.e. an S2K float trip.

I drive, modify, and tear down my car just for the fun of it. But a drive sounds good. We needed represent the s2000 group more at shows and event.
S2k float trip sounds good also.
