Alsea Falls Drive - Saturday June 10th 17th 2017
Drive mileage: 330 miles Drive time including stops: 9 hours

Join Us Saturday, June 10th June 17th for the third official drive of the 2017 season!
We will be meeting on the south end of Wilsonville to head out and spend the day driving through some scenic back country roads and hitting up some historic markers on our way down the Willamette Valley! :
vtec:

... ...

Turning west we will pass by the south-east side of Corvallis and turn south to Alpine.

... ...

We will turn west from Alpine and enjoy the twisty roads that lead to the lovely Alsea Falls Park.

... ...

We will then continue west via the Alsea River canyon to the coast arriving at Waldport.

... ...

We'll have lunch here in Waldport before heading South on Highway 101 toward Florence
Turning South on the coast highway we will move to Florence, This will also be the time to refuel if needed.

... ...

...

After lunch we will head north from Newport through Lincoln City, McMinnville, and Newberg before returning to our start point via Wilsonville road.

... ... ...

At this point we'll head east on highway 126 for a short jaunt before we veer off onto 36 making our way back to I5 for the trip back home!

Our drives are not open to the general public, which includes those who used to own an S2000, hope to own one, those with similar cars, or those who think the drive we've put together sounds fun and would like to tag along, etc.

We are not trying to be snobby here, but are trying to clarify what we are about – The fun and adventure of Honda S2000 & NSX ownership.

I can only hope that it doesn't get postponed to April 22 because of inclement weather...

Was this the drive we did a few years back on that lonely bumpy logging road? We ended up eating down in Florence somewhere.

No it would be a loop. The route is still a bit TBD though, I'll email you a copy when it's finalized.
