I have read many DIY but I am not very experience with any kind of tools at all.

I don't own tools but the basic ones.

I think like sawzall or air cutter or something like that something that will cut right into the metal.

angle grinder with a cutting disc is what I used before. will cut any metal on your car, bro. on air cutter you'll be needing a compressor. Maybe only a rotary tools like a Dremel is all you need for cutting thin metal on a tight space.

you probably could get through it with a dremel with a diamond cutting blade. i was able to cut through the double layer of metal to do over fenders. i also have an angle grinder but they are a bit difficult to get into tight places. my dremel is on its last legs maybe someone else might be able to lend you one, or you can pick up a cheapo one from harbor freights. it probably will crap out on you after one run though.

I think Hiep is right, using a dremel with the right blade should suffice. Anan, usually you can rent them from places like Lowes or Home Depot

depending how much it cost to rent, you would likely have to buy the blades regardless. however you could buy one of these

its a cheap solution, however they are not good long term and often times break down. i would personally invest in a little extra to get the actual dremel brand but if you are on a budget you cant be picky.

When I converted to ap1 tails I used a battery powered sawzaw to make most of the cuts then went back with dremel to make it cleaner. Ps don't forget the touch up paint for the metal you cut behind tail lights or it'll rust. Goodluck.
