If you can find a new one, it would be about $350. Comptech has reopened but what they will carry is still unknown. Their website is currently unders construction. Hope that helped.

EDIT: Found a brand new one on ebay.

Good choice, I have one myself. The only complaint that I have is the CF fitment. Its a pain to get it aligned correctly, which I guess is a known problem according to others on the board.

How good is the Comptech intake? I always take any manufacturer's dyno claims then divide it by at least half.

An intake is not going to give you much hp, but what it does is it improve throttle response, the comptech is a good unit and works well. To me its not a true CAI like the AEM or Injen. Instead of getting the air from where the radiator is, the Comptech and I believe the K&N FPIK gets the cooler air from the passenger side fender.

I was looking at a few intakes and by far the best one i liked was the J's mostly cause of how it looks but way to much for me to spend on a intake the next one i loved was the comptech and it was something in my range cant wait till it comes

Although I do love JDM parts, they are so exspensive. With the cost of a JDM header, intake, and exhaust you can buy a FI kit, which will give you more hp and torque. Hopefully by spring I go FI.
