tbh, if you're a guy who likes car's that have a lot of torque, S2000 might not be the right choice. However, I will say that our cars do have great gearing, so even though it doesn't give the driver the "throw you to the back of the seats" feeling, the car actually accelerate quite well, just not in the same ball park as evo/sti/v8's.

I'm not really a "there's no replacement for displacement," "torque for life" kind of guy. I think I've grown up a bit which is why I'm willing to sacrafice a lot of torque for a better chassis. I'm just saying it's going to be a big change and I want to make sure it's one that I can live with before I pull the trigger. I was actually surprised at how much pickup the s2ks had when I drove them.
