Please recommend good Honda Mechanic
Would prefer one with a private shop but dealership is also OK. Most dealerships are charging $110/hr. Yikes! For work on my S and Wagon.
Already aware and use Paul Nix @ TC sometimes.
Thanks!

When I went to them a few days, I had a quick chat about the random vibration I would get while driving and sometimes after a hard acceleration. I had taken the car to forged a few days ago, thinking it was a pitted axle bucket, and paid $155 to have them swapped, and issue dissapeared for a few days, and then came back.
Turns out it was completely unrelated, and without even looking at my car, and me describing the issue, and telling them during the vibration it pulled to one side.
He said, it was most likely caliper that are getting stuck and not releasing all the way. He took look at the rotors and could tell, that one had heated up, and the vibration was coming from the rotor getting heated up and warped to some degree.
I am really happy, I took my car there, and to be honest, the dude Carlos is a gem. Nice guy and none of that pay us $100 to diagnose the issue. Also they work on STI's and have their shop car parked outside.
As for my issue, I will be getting the caliper replaced, and possibly both front rotors.
Thanks, I know he does work at home too, but he has been pretty busy lately and lives really far away (from civilization).
Don't forget: Paul works on Hondas outside of TC, too
And for a lot less than $110/hr! I'd PM Doug for that contact info.

Couldn't find a shop review thread and despite one of the shops being a prominent member in this forum, thought it would be a good resource for new and old members
AR Auto here. Took my old Miata there under the recommendations of the previous owner whom sold the car with a stack of receipts and have been going there ever since. Eddie, the owner, has quite an interesting history with the S2000, if I remember correctly he worked with Honda performance racing them? Anyway, he knows them inside out and is always incredibly friendly, yet to the point about things.
They are a little on the pricey side but it's worth the peace of mind knowing that it will be done right, the first time, and they will always try and squeeze you in. It's super clean, a nice waiting area in the garage where you can see the cars being worked on etc.
Perhaps the best part, when there is a 911 GT3 RS Cup, multiple M3 race cars, Lotus', and other like cars, in the parking lot it is quite assuring to know you're in good hands.
