There were quite few S2000s in attendance yesterday (I counted 5 in total). Checking out Huy's 240Z and the unexpected surprise of seeing Ira's new NSX were also highlights for me. As I was driving out of the parking lot someone told me that they had a S2K just like mine. (So maybe there were 6 S2Ks there in total?) I had to get going so I didn't have time to stick around and find out if that person was a member here or not. Anyway, it was nice getting a chance to hang out with those of you who made it out yesterday.
Definitely a fun morning!

"From what we’re hearing now, Honda has finally decided that it will build a new S2000 and that it will get a souped-up version of the Civic Type R’s 2.0-liter turbo powerplant, but in a mid-engined layout and generating upwards of 410hp. Obviously, that would make the coupe rear-wheel-drive and in combination with an 8-speed DCT transmission, the new S2000 would no doubt have Porsche in its sights."

Whoopsie, I reposted that quote that you had in your post right there, I thought it was your signature and didn't read it. My apologies
I hope this is true! Would be nice for Honda to have a competitive sports car in the market once again!

Howdy! So we're finally buying a house, yay! but I had to make the compromise for now of no garage. Hopefully in the next few months we'll be either building one or purchasing one of the hickory barns with a garage door, but for the time being rather than putting up a car tent, I'd like to try and store the S somewhere. We'll be just off Willamette blvd on Curtis by Holman. The car doesn't have to be too close, but somewhat close would be nice.
Any thoughts or leads on space?
