I know its a bit of an old thread... but I'm in Orlando now too and I want to do the mod as well... Buying an exhaust is the plan down the road, but for now, $1000 on a decent exhaust isn't in the cards... I just want a simple way to get a bit more sound.
Does anyone have any suggestions of any shops locally that can do it? @mmkk111... did you ever get it done? if so, where?

Starbai,
I got a quote at a local shop for $170. That seems a little steep, but I haven't gone anywhere else either. I have a buddy with a shop at his house with a lift, welder, etc. He said I can use his stuff, so I'm going to pursue that once I get some time off from work.
I'll let you know how it goes?!

Wish I saw that reply before I got it done today. My fault for not checking the thread. I had Tim @ NBR Auto Center on Goldenrod Rd. do it today 407-325-1722. Highly recommended. I'd still like to have the Tanabe Medalion Touring back that I used to have but for 1/4 the price and 2/3 the sound this was a very good interim mod. I would still like a bit more sound but again good enough for now. He charged me $160 today. I know it can be done cheaper, but everyone I called around to seemed to be all over the place with pricing ranging from $100 to $300. End of the day it was worth it I'd say even at $160.
