I'm leaving this thread. i used to think hitting VTEC was fun, but i guess it's not.
Enjoy your ride, cause i think i may hate mine if i keep reading how sh!tty she is.
I'm off to drown my sorrow for buying such a piece of $hit!
Yeah right, sideways in 3rd or 4th? that ain't marketing, that's fun.
she makes me smile every time, no matter how much your dyno says she sucks.

Hitting VTEC is fun, but when you are at auto-x or the track (auto-x more specifically) and you are right on the bubble between the kick and no kick it upsets the balance of the car.

I kind of miss the kick but not too much

Don't take it personally. I love the car too, that's why I've had it for 6 years. Just stating some technical facts. If you're tuning for track performance that's one thing, if you tune for enjoyment, that's another.

LOL.

remember to not just base numbers per say as a dyno is used for tuning but you didnt have anything to tune so it makes it hard :S

a vafc is greatly your friend here in this case steve. In my 01 we pretty much went -4 to -9 accross most of the board and i saw gains of a tad over 20whp which is amazing.

Some motors are known as freaks while a lot of people usually end up with 200-215ish.

plus you know you need a single 70 to make power, reason i sold my 63,

I thought you had the 70em?
