can someone help me with a FULL carfax report?
 

Hey all, i've found one, but need to check it out on the carfax end of things.

can someone / anyone pm me with access to a full carfax report? I have the vin and will gladly pm that info (if ya can help a brutha out, I got a round or 2 of beers as a thank you.).

hoping this all works out and in 2 weeks I'm in my own s2k... fingers crossed.

On the dropdown box IIRC you can get a full report for $1.50 :)

I'm curious to run my own car. I'm pretty sure it is still "clean" in carfax, which of course is a total joke. Or at least an in-joke, to those who know the recent history of the car.

Blair helpfully did run my car.

Here's the real history:

11/01 -- spun off the road, had to replace LF fender, air pump, headlight, wheel -- about $5K, no frame damage

7/03 -- parking lot ding on passengers door, required repainting and dent repair, no frame damage

5/04 -- crashed on racetrack, smashed up rear and RF, $26K damage, frame damage

Now, guess which one showed up on carfax? 7/03. That's the only one where a police report was filed (because it was H&R). Oh, and it showed up as "frame damage possible accident".

Makes me REALLY trust carfax....

damn mike, yikes! that's um er uh well... hmmm, crazy!

not surprised though sometimes those car faxes don't always have evertything up to date....
