Hello everyone,

I recently moved to the Spokane, WA area from a 5 year tour in Japan (Air Force). I’ve owned a 2006 GPW since 2013, which now has ~115k on the clock. I had a choice between selling or keeping it in storage, and I just couldn’t let her go. I prepped and put her in storage and she sat in a slumber for just over 5 years, just got her back up and running mid-July. Let me tell you, I fell in love again with the S2000 all over again as I pulled the car cover off. I’ve only gotten to put another ~3k miles on this season, but hopefully will have some more miles with smiles next year after winter comes to an end.




I’ve been keeping my eye out for other S2000s in the Spokane area and I’ve only seen one or two other ones. Not sure if they are rare in the PNW, but there are some nice twisties to enjoy the S on, and there is even a small circuit track near the base that I’ve been interested in doing some track days at. I was wondering if anyone on here is in the area.

 

Awesome ride man, and welcome! Bet its felt great to have got back in the S again after 5 years! Hopefully you have found a few other guys to hook up with out there on your side of the mountains. Seems like everyone pretty much uses Facebook these days to reach out and coordinate anything.
