Awesome cars and fun  This is eastern WA I take it? How much was the event to participate? The Hill Climb was $135 for the two days. It's run like an auto-x where you work one session and race one session each day although working consists of sitting in a chair on the hill and watching the race. No cones to chase but a few rocks to sweep when someone drops a wheel off. Primarily you are there in case of an accident or fire. Classing is also SCCA auto-x based plus a few open classes if you don't fit well in the standard classes. There are a few other organizations that run hill climbs or just drives at Maryhill. As usual the video doesn't do it justice. The entire hill is a 5% grade with lots of blind corners and big drop offs and it's in really nice condition. |

I've never participating in any auto X, simply because it never interested me like running a road course, so not too familiar with how the classing works, a bit of a learning curve for me there. I probably mostly fit into a mild mod/street class but not sure, my tire widths or aero might throw me out of that one. |
