Mono hood damper prop

I always want a hood damper on my car to do without the hood prop. But all the aftermarket kit are limit to use two dampers and no bigger hood opening than the factory hood prop.Beside that thay all cost over $100 +.So I made my own.It only use one damper .And now my hood opening is more like 80 degree. The way I mount the damper which actually give me more room to access to engine bay than most aftermarket kit does. The best thing is it only cost me about $50.Let me know what you guy think.
