My HKS exhaust broke
Looks like the exhaust goblins visited my car...
Can't figure out why. IIRC, there have been problems with welds on HKS exhaust systems but that doesn't appear to be the issue here. I'm hoping to get it fixed. Can anybody recommned a good shop in the Seattle-Everett area to make the repair. Thanks.

FTL may be able to fix it ........ if they just tacked it with the system in place and then you removed the affected sections it in their driveway and let them finish weld it on the bench he'd probably do it pretty cheap since you'd be doing most of the labor.
Give Russ a call or I can talk to him for you if (you're scared) you'd like.

The system isn't that old. It was replaced in late 2005 after this incident. Since then, the car has been driven about 20k miles.

too bad you didn't keep the old pieces of the damaged exhaust ...... my pack ratting a$$ would have been good to go in your current situation
Hey, come to think of it, if you get a new exhaust, can I have the dead pieces of this one? I'd love to upgrade to one of these high quality (Ben type) 2005 vintage HKS's
