parts costs from my estimate
In case you are curious:
rear 1/4 panel: $474
taillight: $246
rear body panel: $239
rt. rail assembly: $558
lf. rail assembly: $584
floor pan: $112
rear floor pan: $529
weatherstrip for trunk: $56
trunk lid: $431
trunk lock: $119
high mount lamp: $242
rear bumper cover: $221 (reconditioned)
rear bumper beam: $157
rear energy absorbers: $36x2
silencer: $508
tailpipe extenders: $54x2
front fender: $320
front fender stay: $26
front fender liner: $71
front bumper cover: $224 (reconditioned)
headlap assy: $512 (one of them survived the crash!)
front wheel: $481
tie rod: $48
(The shop is expecting more of the front suspension to be replaced once we pull it apart and get a good look at it. Also one of my cryo'd rotors was chipped, so that's another $121. Probably $121x2 because they don't like putting on one new rotor.)
Note, all these parts have to be painted, which is another big expense.

Ah I can't imagine the labor cost.
Is it possible to get a pretty concrete estimate and get a check from the insurance company for repair/parts. Then use the money to buy some nice aftermarket parts you want. Like maybe cf hood, 04 conversion or something like that.
