WTB: $8K or less economy car
Must be non-smoker, no accidents, no pets, well maintained, clean title.
I'm hoping the S2000 ownership group will tend to have clean beater type cars, but not beat on. You know what I mean.

The problem with looking "now and then" in regards to the 2.5 RS is that you'll never find one. A decent one (one worth buying at a justifiable price) comes along rather rarely and in order to catch it before it gets snapped up you have to be diligent in your hunt.
What sucks is that since I've looked at them myself as an option for a DD I now see them everywhere!
