I'm looking for a cheap, OEM MX-5 Front Sway. 2006 and newer (NC). I can get them fairly cheap on ebay, but if someone has one laying around, I'll take it off your hands.

Nope. MX-5 Front sway will install into the rear of the S2000

Isn't the AP2 sway stronger than the AP1? What are your front and rear spring rates? Softer in the front?
Anyhow, it doesn't much matter on the street

No its the opposite, its the lowest spring rate out of the line up. The 00-01 are the stiffest front and rear, and 02-03 are about in the middle. So, im running the stock 01 sway up front, ap2 rear and same coil spring rate front and back of 14k. 255/295 tire stagger. Its a really nice balanced set up, with a tendency to still want to overseer a bit at 1xx speeds on the road course, but I dont run a rear wing. So all in all its balanced. Ive never tried the Miata bar, I felt it might be too big of a jump down for what I needed. For you running a square tire/traction set up, its probably more balanced. Of course your damper settings are going to influence some of this as well.

shoot me! I KNEW the AP2 sway was lighter. not sure why i asked otherwise! Surprised you're still getting oversteer, with that stagger though! A little heavy on throttle, in the turns?

On throttle overseer isn't an issue at all, just when you get settled into maintenance throttle through the turn if its a fast sweeper, and of course corner entry (as im a pretty late braker anyway) and at speed with no rear wing its easy for the car to be loose in the rear when its unweighted and you are trying to modulate that with directional changes. We are talking in the 10% or less range at absolute limit where these things are happening though, so its pretty finite and really pretty balanced with driving style/line choice a contributor to the rear coming unglued. Ive got it set up with a better balance then stock but still pretty tiresome to run lap after lap at that line, much easier if the car wants to push everywhere, but thats part of the S2k fun and character. I wouldn't be apposed to switching up to a 315 in the rear though to further tame the adhesion balance if I had a way to fit one without over fenders - which there isn't. Before I moved to a 10" wide wheel up front, I was running a 225/295 stagger for a wile, and that was the opposite, where I had to drive the car like a Porsche to weight the front hard on corner entry so I could turn in, which would normally put you in the ditch with this car, so that was an interesting learning experience for a wile. Fun too.

255/255 is pretty bold on an ap1. Definitely go with a thicker then stock bar up front and a rear wing if your planning on controlling this car on the road course at triple digits. Auto X dont worry about a rear wing.
