This is basically the lens I've been waiting for for a long time. And the price is hard to beat!

I just got the new Tamron 150-600 G2 for Nikon and the matched 2.0x teleextender. I'm going to mount them with my D3400 and a 95mm #5 neutral density filter on my Meade 8" LX200 Schmidt Cassegrain catadioptric telescope to see and shoot the 8/21 total solar eclipse from Salem, OR.
