Photo hosting / Picasa to GooglePhotos transition
Just curious if anyone here is a Picasa user, and if so, what plans you have for the Google Photos transition that is (underway, happened, happening).
While the Picasa client itself isn't much use to me, I use PS to do my editing, the online service is where I find the value.
Having the ability to do this: http://picasaweb.google.com/heyitsgary seems to be missing (or perhaps requiring Google+)?
I'm not a fan of the new main page, by dates. It does seem that the album feature is a little better than before, where I can now do this at least: https://photos.google.com/album/AF1Q...5GrY3SlAdKoblf .
Does it also seem that you have to upload all the photos, then manage the album, instead of just uploading images to the new album itself.
Thoughts anyone? Plans anyone? Again, just curious what people, particularly Picasa users are doing.

I haven't been paying too much attention to it but I probably should be. I use picasa as well because I like it for sharing albums online and I actually like the picasa photo viewer and have been using it for a long time over the standard windows one.
Will all the old links be broken at some point? I see things have been transitioning to google photos and I don't particularly like the interface either. I wish google just rebadged picasa but I guess they're also trying to steer users towards their google+ app..
