I think the "Why?" was because they look like shit.
But Pure Evo your entitled to your opinion and whining when you don't get a glowing critique. My question was a simple why? That's all very simple and I take offense to you terming it a bait post. Grow up, but since your old and been moderating a long time I would imagine that you would be more mature in your responses sadly that is not the case.
If you want to improve your 2 examples posted, clone out the person in the first pic and remove that yellow spot in the right foreground and the top of the frame on the right the power lines in the second photo. 2 simple edits that would pay large dividends.
FTR if you want to do REAL tilt shift photography let me know I have many years of experience doing so for REAL. The technique exhibited here is more commonly termed miniature faking where the use of the lens blur filter in ps and gradients achieve a result 'similar" to but not tilt shift photography.
You enjoy your photography now even if digital manipulation photography is your cup of tea. Good day

Post up some of your pics. I'd love to see them. Had you mentioned that at the beginning, the conversation would have gone something like this:
You: "I've been doing Tilt/Shift for years!"
Me: "Oh, that's cool. I'm way too poor to afford any more lenses right now, but I really like the style. You have any links to shots you've taken?"
You: "Yeah, it's www.adsfjklaj.com check it out"
Me: "thanks dude! I'm glad you didn't get on here and give me less than a glowing review. (And by review, I mean a one word post). That would have been NUTS!

That's really too bad you came on my thread like that. I see you are truly a photo guy. Generally the community I'm used to isn't really like that with a few exceptions. Neither car nor photography. But then again, it's easier to just pop on a thread and one-word dis it. From a real pro, I'd expect "the bokeh doesn't really look good", or "I'm over that look", or something.
