Default Help a brother out !

Hey guys,

I reeeeeeeeally want to get an entry level Digital SLR (Prefer a Nikon D40 or better but will also consider a Canon.) but I don't have too much to spend on the gear. I don't know if this is a proper place to ask, but is there any one want to get rid of their SLR camera for a decent price? Please let me know what you got. The camera needs to be in a decent working condition and I should be happy with the kit lens for a little while. Thanks guys in advance.

Nothing over 300.. That's a bit difficult w/ the D40. But from reading the rest of what you wrote, I'm assuming you 'want to buy' a used camera from someone.

I'm sure you might be able to find a Canon Rebel XT somewhere for maybe $300.

You can find a used Canon digital rebel (not the xt or xti, just the regular rebel) for around $300 on eBay. That should be a great starter camera for you.

Craigs list if you're in an area they cover.

Kit lens FTL. Save $400 for a lens. The rest, spend on a mint used SLR.
