Need advice on a camera for video
My photography knowledge is fairly limited. I took a few classes in high school/college (all with film cameras), so I understand the basics of photography and developing. I've never done video though.
The only camera I have that can shoot video is a little point-n-shoot Pansonic DMC-FS3, and I have a feeling that the video quality will not stack up.
I'm not doing professional work obviously, but I need something entry-level (and entry-level price point) that will allow me to at least develop my skills enough that I can take advantage of a professional-quality camera in a year or so.
Basically, something that shoots decent quality video, has user-friendly functions with the ability to manually override, at a good price, is what I'm thinking anyway.
(Please feel free to move this if it should be in the Technology forum)
