Nikon D7200

Been considering the New Nikon D7200 camera and was wondering if anyone on this forum has any experience with it? As I understand it has a few slight improvements over the D7100 but is it really worth the extra cost over the D7100?

see if this helps. I own the D7100 and I'm extremely happy with it with the exception of the the buffer size for continuous shots. It looks like the D7200 has a larger buffer size as well as higher iso settings. Does that justify paying extra? Maybe, that depends on what your goals are.

I am currently using the D7100 and absolutely love it, but I can see how in the article it talks about the fact that in just one second of shooting the camera can "fill up", and then you have to wait several seconds to take another picture.

It sounds like the D7200 should be able to snap more pictures in a shorter period of time, so that combined with a longer battery life may make it worth the extra money, depending on the type of shooting you plan on doing (if you do wildlife or action shots of any kind--such as a track day where you have limited time to snap a picture), I can see the D7200 being worth perhaps a few hundred extra bucks over the 7100. It also says the battery life is going to be a little bit extended, but so far I don't have any complaints with the battery life on the 7100..just make sure it is charged before you go out, and unless you are going on a multi-day excursion where you can't charge it you should be ok.
