SD Cards....
Need to get an SD card for the camera but haven't got a clue which one to buy as there is so many to choose from out there.
Any suggestions? |
Just get something with fast write speed, Class 10.

If you're constantly shooting photos for sports or weddings, then a fast write speed card should be top priority. However, if you're just shooting stationary objects, maybe a couple of portraits here and there, a fast write speed card isn't necessary, in which I would just spend the money on a cheaper card with more capacity. |
Cheers for the input....

FWIW, we use SanDisk Extreme 45 MB/s, class 10.

I started looking on ebay and then started to get confused with all the MB's on the cards... :ponder: |
Just be careful on the eBay cards. There is lots of counterfeit cards out there
I buy all my cards at b&h |

I think the estimate at one point was that online CF cards were 90% counterfeit. I wouldn't be surprised if SD or other styles are close to that.
ebay even had a whole page devoted to identifying them. http://www.ebay.com/gds/SanDisk-Extr...1456539/g.html (might be dated a little - but gives the point). I now only shop at the big retailers (B/M and online). There's usually sales all the time. |
