Default Some Quick Help

I am going to be getting on a plane to Vegas tomorrow and am thinking about taking the camera. How well does it travel? I am obviously going to carry the camera on the plane but is it ok for it to go thru the xray machine? I just don't want to mess anything up. Thanks.

You've got nothing to worry about so yes, take your camera. The rent-a-cops didn't even ask me to take any gear out of my bag during my last trip. Xray machines only mess with print/slide film.

The only time I've been stopped was to look at a 15 minute battery charger (because it had a fan in it), but I've carried many a camera and gear through security without a hitch.

i've been stopped by security and they did that swab test on all my gear to test if it has any traces of explosives. besides that no issues.
