Hey guys. I was curious what microphone would be best to capture outside and inside car videos. With a good mixture of bass, and smooth sounds. Camera is a t3i. Something not too expensive.

not sure what you consider expensive or not, but Rode has great mics. I really like the video mic pro, as it's a mini shotgun style, but they also make a non-pro model that has great sound. the stereo mics of theirs will pic up sounds from all around, so you will not be able to direct it as much. either way, the quality of sound that comes from any of the Rode mics is far superior to the mic in a dslr.
