Default Yahoo! Photos closing soon, where to move to?

hey guys, I have ~1000 personal photos online with Yahoo Photos, and they are closing soon. I just want to see where you photo guys are moving to and WHY

I dont want to pay for an account if I dont have to.

options are:

Snapfish
Photobucket
Flickr
Shutterfly
Kodak Gallery

i use photobucket....its easy and they always work

Flickr but you'll need to shell out for a Pro account with that many pics.

It's been said around here that Photobucket recompresses your images.

Go with Flickr and pay the $20. It's already been worth it to me for the contacts I've made.

I got the same email from them. I thought, again, thought, the note read that if you cofirm before a certain date, they would do the transfer to Flickr for you you. I could be completely off the wall here, but it's what I remember.

I use Google for pics, I found the integration into the desktop Picasa client very useful and limited the number of individual steps I needed to do to manage/publish my stuff.

make ur own website ? and always have ur own server to work it.... i host a pic with a drop and drag, its so nice and easy
