Long story short, I found a 06 AP2 in Winnipeg, Manitoba area through a Kijiji lead. I don't want to fly over just to check out the vehicle so I'm looking for members in that region that can help me check out the details of the car.

I trust more of our fellow members than any mechanic shop (including Honda dealers) that I can find over the internet.

Thanks Themikewoo and anamono. Changed my mind so no longer looking for that one.
It was a 2006 AP2 GPW with about 50,000 km 3 owners vehicle, asking for about low 20's. The deal is really apealing, but I don't feel comfortable with the broker pushing me into this deal. When I'm not sure, I just walk away. Appreciated your responses anyways.

Hey guys, moved to Winnipeg last year. I have an AP2. Anyone have any recommendations for a mechanic for maintenance/oilchanges, etc?

Hmmm S2000 specific mechanics. Not so sure. But Jackson Autosport on Speers are a good overall shop for imports. John and Marshall did a ton of work for my MR2 and I'm happy with the results. But I'm not sure about their S2000 experience. I'm probably gonna go there this Spring to do the UK exhaust mod.

Thanks anamono, I appreciate the info. I was talking to some guys at one of the Honda dealers on the phone, and I got the sense they hadn't even seen an S before or something... that made me wonder if there is a go-to private shop in town.

Lol.. I mean I would trust them with something as simple as an oil change but probably nothing more extensive than that.
