diff housing

Default diff housing

i currently installing my exhaust and i used the diff as a jack point . now theirs a indent of the jack pushed in to the diff housing . how bad is this i think i have to replace the housing ? any ideas

Wow, that's messed up. I jacked up my old car on the pumpkin all the time and it was never a problem. Are S2k diff housings made of styrofoam?

Are you sure you jacked up on the diff? The diff housing is cast metal - probably some sort of aluminum alloy, you'd need to smack it something hard to put an indent into it.

no i'm just stupid thats all it looked like its messed up but you know ware the plug is in the bottom of diff looked like i dented it

There is a pad on the bottom for jacking from that point. Weird.
