Default finally got my car on the road for the season

When I got my new RE01Rs mounted a couple weeks ago, as soon as I put them on the car, it became quite clear that even though I bought the same sizes as before (OE AP2 sizes) the tires were wider, or at least had a more square shoulder. Especially on the front. The fronts before (RE050s) were slightly stretched on the 17x8 wheel. Now they are pretty flush, looking like a 225 RE050.

Anyway, my fiancee and I rolled the rear fenders yesterday, she holding the laser thermometer and working the heat gun, and me adjusting the Eastwood roller I borrowed. Easy! Took like 30 minutes per side only, to get the inner lip up to the angle I was comfortable with.

Not sure if I can do much on the fronts, there's not much meat there, and I've already done the 'bend clips up and push liner over clips' mod.

I'll try to snap some pix. Completely forgot. I only rolled the upper portion of the fender, I stopped when the fender just started to go 'vertical', if that makes sense. Just wanted to get it done so I could drive it last night. I'll probably go back at it later and roll the rest of the fender lip just to make it all look the same. From the outside, can't tell it happened. I even managed to put the rubber strip back on too.
