Just curious where do you guys go and fill up your s2?

For a while i was using the new 94 from petro. I found that I was only getting about 350km/tank.

I recently switches to 91 from shell and notice its much better performance wise and im getting almost an extra 30-40km per tank! My driving is a mix of back and forth to dt, and highway back and forth from the golf course.

Just curious, did any one else experience something similar? Or just me?

Wow.. what yr is your s2? Even on all highway i only got 450km going at about 120km/hr.

Mine is an 03. Does that play a factor? Ap1 vs ap2 maybe?
All my service is up to date and i changed every fluid in the car 3000km ago as well as new spark plugs, and pcv valve.

i always use shell 91 and my drive is usually about 50/50 highway/city, maybe a touch more city. I usually average right around 9L/100km. or i'll fill up ~40L and have gone 450km. usually the light turns on at that point, so i could probably get 550km if i wanted to run it close to dry (which i have and was quite scary lol)

I use Costco and I get about 350 km on a tank (all city driving). Out on the highway, 500+ km is easily doable at 120 kph.

We were discussing this a bit at our 'mini-meet' last weekend. I always fill with Esso 91, because of Esso Extra loyalty points and because they have a station close to my house, and I've been going for years. The points are nice - I've used them to get an Oilers jersey, movie tickets, car washes, etc.

I don't think I've ever seen over 500km on a tank on the highway though. I usually see about 330-350km in purely city driving - that's until the light clicks on though. I've never run it absolutely dry. This is supercharged, with 4.44 gears combined with AP2 transmission. Even when I was not supercharged and with the stock AP1 trans and stock 4.10 gears I don't think I saw over 500km per tank highway driving though, that's astounding to me! I don't think I drive like nuts either.

I have an 06 completely stock engine/drivetrain. I run Castrol Syntec fluid, I honestly don't hit vtec too often unless I am really in the mood. But I cruise at highway speeds and this is on a mix of highway in town.
