Thanks. I've got some more to go for my other cars but once I'm done I'm switching to Amsoil.

Anyone else use Amsoil here?

I have a few bike motors that would prove otherwise...

Amsoil seems to be superior in terms of wear protection and maintaining its original properties from what I've seen in independent lab tests and oil analysis reports.

But hey, some people like paying $30+ per liter for those fancy unproven "boutique" oils like motul, so to each their own. More expensive doesn't always mean it's the best.

Thanks to Vtir's tip, I grabbed the very last 5L jug of 10/30 on the shelves at both the super Wal-mart at South Edmonton Common, and also in the west end on Stony Plain Road.

Last weekend too Canadian Tire had 20% off. I picked up 16L of 0/40 for my AMG. I'm good for two oil changes on both cars now...
