Very good evening spent lapping, only slightly cooked the brakes (but that's a given at Strato). Overall the entire evening felt far "easier" on the car then lapping a Turbo AWD car ever did. Overall, the s2000 is magical on the track. Good power, amazing brakes, and consistant and communicative handling. Not as assured as an AWD car, but very *very* fast.

The wife picked up the camera, and snapped some pics. But after the first set of shots the battery died. So she never realized that she was in "Aperture priority", so we got a lot of pics of cars "parked" on the track.... Oh well.

Hey i saw your car last Friday parked in front of lister hall =)

 

It's tempting to make a drive from Manitoba to do a few of these...

 

It's just a Kart track... Why not go to Gimli?

 

I do. But we have to share with the knuckle draggers and street bikes, so we get 4 weekends in an entire summer.

 

There are few spots still open for this Friday...


I cannot understand why we dont see more s2000s out there, this track is so much fun for them.

Although cold, a fun outing last night.

Chris set a blazing time and a high bar for the rest of us, nice work.

 

Was lots of fun, well worth the drive from Calgary.
I didn't really drive that well this time
but I think it showed me a bunch of stuff I need to change in my car and in my driving.
