Hi, All.

Just picked up my S2000 ap1 a few weeks ago. Friend pointed me in this direction. Hope to see you out there.

PS, the car is well used. I'll be needing lots of new parts. Windows don't roll down all the time, roof sometimes lower or doesn't raise. These parts seem to be finicky?

Later.

Berlina ftw. In terms of the items being finicky, I'd try giving the window and roof switches a clean before going to pick up a new one. My Auto Down was really finicky for the longest time. After pulling it out and cleaning it with a Q-tip (leave absolutely nothing behind) it seemed to work fully again.

Welcome aboard!

OP - keep in mind that with the roof your e brake has to be FULLY on and can make it seem like it does not want to go down.

Also for the windows, be sure you dont lock out the passenger one and think it er um doesnt work;)

Ebrake light only has to be on. I cut the Speed wire going to the top controller. Now I can be rolling, pull up the ebrake one click, and lower the top. (see Modifry.com for details) Watch your speed though, you'll damage something if you're going too fast.

FYI: The window lock is on the driver's side door, by the window switches. If your windows won't work, try it in the other position first.

FYI 2: "Auto down" happens when you push the driver's window switch all the way down. You can quickly push it and release and it'll put the window all the way down.

Saw a black one once that had an issue with the wires where they connected from the ignition switch to the fusebox. Gave very similar symptoms... Might try that to see if any of those are loose.
