Can't wait! Hope to see a few new faces out this year. Probably should go get an alignment.

What safety requirements? SA helmet? Roll bar? Or is a soft top and a M2005 helmet (what I have) sufficient?

Snell 2005, M is fine. Stock roll hopes are fine. Basically bring a car in good condition with a newer helmet and you are good to go.

Reminder of just how fun it is

If we can get 5 or 6 S2000s out, we can have out own run group!

I take it the track isn't gong to be sold or closed down anytime soon? That's good news.

I spoke with one of the guys manning the Castrol Raceway boothat the car show. He said the asphalt is ordered for the road course, hoping to pave by end of summer. Sounds to me like they ar a year behind but whatever. I want to build an old school Civic hatchback time attack racecar with a Type R or K20 swap. Have to find more money!

I'll sell you a very good Civic -- placed second in the 2012 rallyx events (http://members.shaw.ca/murray.autocr.../_overalls.txt). Not a hatchback, but a sedan with the smallest engine available $500 takes it away

Typically $80-100 for an evening or $160 for a full day
