WTB: CE28N 17x9.5 +47 — Group by interest check
 

I am looking for a set of unicorn wheels. The elusive Ray's Volk Racing CE28N 17x9.5 +47. I am willing to pay a pretty penny for them if necessary, for bronze in particular. I know there are very few sets out there but I just want it to be known.

I am also considering trying to organize enough people that Ray's is willing to make some more sets. Mackin has told me they require at least 20 pieces (5 sets) for them to convince Japan to make some more. So if anyone is interested let me know.

Update:

A vendor put in the legwork and has told me he has confirmation from Japan on 5 sets of bronze 17x9.5 +47s! There are already 3 sets confirmed so if we can get one more buyer I think we can make this happen. Vendor has said they would be happy to cover the last set to have it available.

If only I had the money. That's my favorite spec for the CE28

gl buddy - I don't think they'll re-run disco'd wheels personally. They will more than likely make a new mold. Best bet would be to run the 17x10 if going new.

I'll let you know if I decide to sell mine, which maaaaay or may not happen after next weekend. :)

As for the wheels, as much as I like that size of 9.5 +47. I think i'd rather go with 10 +44. Both clear a BBK.

that said, there's hardly enough money for even cast wheels right now. hah

for the sake of the people "thinking" :scratch: about the wheels IF there is a group buy type of thing,...one of the vendors I got my wheels from only required 800 down and the rest due at shipping time which was 7 months later. much easier to stomach that way

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what's so special about this particular spec?
