Default I-70 clear of snow by Monday?

Hello Rocky Mountain forum members. I was planning on taking I-70 through Colorado this coming Monday 5/22 in my S, on my way to NY from CA. I have been watching the weather (2-4' of snow), but I was wondering if someone there on the ground could tell me if I can make it through CO on I-70 with S-02's as my tire on the car. I know it's a couple days away but I will need to decide whether to stay on I-80 out of Reno or commit to the I-70 route via 50? Thanks!

Today is the day. My son and I are waking up in Delta UT this morning to bright sunshine. I found a road cam site for I-70 through Colorado and made the decision Sunday morning to take it because all conditions were dry. Of course when we stopped driving last night the cams were showing wet mixed rain/snow conditions!
Thankfully it appears what snow there was last night did not accumulate and I-70 is just wet. I'm counting on the sun to dry the road up by the time we get there to CO.

Whew! We made it, through the Rockies, but not without the stress of wet slushy snow. We crested the Vail summit doing 50 mph with my wipers packed with slush. Those S-02's really shined, especially with bald inside shoulders on the fronts! Never lost grip even through some standing water, worst spot was the last tunnel which had some ice build up at it's mouth. Other than that I-70 through Colorado was quite pretty.

i hope this is all cleared by the end of June. My RS3's would not like these conditions.
