Default May be moving to Denver area

Hey guys. My wife and I are thinking of moving to the Denver area. I've found a few jobs at Western Union that match what I'm looking for.

I'm pretty confident this is an awesome place to live. What I'm wondering is if any of you work for or know anyone who works for Western Union. Since I may move for a job I'd like to know how it is working for them. (I'm not looking for a hand-out).

Thank you

I don’t know of any local S2K forum members or acquaintances that work for Western Union. They do though have a reputation for outstanding employee relationships.

Welcome to Colorado, I think you’ll like it here. Good luck with your career.

I don't know of anyone that works for Western Union either. Most of the people that live in CO post on the other site (S2kca), it might be worth asking there.

Hopefully everything works out and you move here. Its a good place to live.

Thanks guys! I really hope it all works out. I've only been in Phoenix for about three and a half years and I am pretty tired of this constant heat in the summers... and the mountains are like an hour away - way too far.

We get into the 90s and occasionally the 100s, but nothing like AZ. We typically only have 3-4 months of hot-ish type weather. The rest of the time is good driving weather. I'd say the furthest part of the Denver metro area is only about 30 minutes from the hills.

FYI, Denver’s cost of living is higher than Phoenix - particularly housing costs.
