Default 4K to spend on a crashed S2K I picked up

I am picking up a wrecked 2001 S2K and have 3K to spend. I can get a door for $800 (it closes fine currently) I was thinking of spending the other $2200 on a body panel that can cover this thrashed side panel, any suggestions? I will be using the car for daily driving and autoX, I may eventually just track it.

To confirm, I have 3-4K to spend and was thinking a body kit (that can bolt over the dent) and a fresh paint job bay be the best bet after the new door (current door can't be salvaged).

I'm glad to see you are saving that car.
It looks like you could cover the damage with current aftermarket offerings. I would make sure the car drives straight and that you remove the rust and then paint those areas. Good luck with your project.
