Default Bronze Wheel Paint

Hi guys,
I'm looking to strip and paint my 949Racing 6ULR's that I just bought. The previous owner sprayed a rattle can black paint on them and it's starting to flake/looks dirty. I'm planning on using paint stripper and wet sanding if needed and then painting them either bronze (the original color of the wheels) or Subaru gold. Does anyone know of any quality brands of wheel paint that have bronze other than Duplicolor? I've already found a quality gold wheel paint from Grimmspeed, but I like the dark look of bronze more on BB. Also what grit would you recommend that I start sanding at if the paint stripper doesn't do the trick?

Thanks!

-Zeke

You might look onto Carbon Bronze. That's what some HFP wheels are as well as some Acura TLs. Paint code is YR562P.

Hmm tempted to give the carbon bronze a try.
Now to decide between bronze and gold haha

Do you think this spray will work? The only part that concerns me is that they mention that they have a custom can for this and then mention it's for touch ups multiple times. I'm not sure if it will be suitable for spraying an entire wheel or not

Carbon bronze wheels look good on just about any black car IMO.

Classy yet subtle. Gold is a little too flashy for my taste.

And I have no idea about your other questions regarding sanding grit and that particular spray. Sorry.

I used the VHT High heat paint on my wheels. Several coats of etching primer, several coats of the paint and I did a satin clear but you can use gloss or whatever you want. This paint is tough. I have it on my valve cover along with my wheels and it has held up great.
