Question Door/Window Lower Molding

Hello everyone. I am unsure what these spots are on my molding strip. The surface is smooth. The spots are not present on any other parts of trim, just on the middle of the drivers side molding. It does not come off with a regular wash or with black trim cleaner. Looking for advice on any products that might clean it, or if the molding strip should just be replaced. I hate seeing it every time I get in the car. Thanks!

Give the magic eraser a try first as this is less invasive vs. painting.

I tired the Magic Eraser. It did not change at all. I think I'm just going to order a new one since I don't have the tools or knowledge to paint it so it matches the other side and molding around the base of the convertible top.
