Default Drilled Side Strake Hole Repair

Alright, so my 06 AP2 that I got last year came with oem side strakes, lip, and decklid. the side strakes don't really bother me, but I feel like I'd like to have the holes in the side fixed and mount them on with double sided tape and the bottom screw mounts instead (I hardly drive the car at all so it won't be getting out in the elements that I'd have to worry about the strakes flying off that way. I guess I want the option to remove them if I want to. They have some road rash from the previous owner as well. The car only has 38k miles on it and its in great running order so I don't think its worth selling the car and getting a different one that doesn't have the holes drilled.

What I'm asking is, has anyone ever had these holes filled or fixed? If so, how much did it run you and what process did they use.
I don't want to take them off and use stickers or bumper plugs to "hide" the hole, I would want to done right.

I appreciate any advice guys, thanks for your help and time.

To do it correctly, one should either MIG weld the holes or use body solder. The later can be more labor intensive depending on the technician. Your main cost will be the repainting/blending afterward, and being Rio in color will be hard to match the color and amount of pearl. I hesitate to give an estimate, but somewhere in the 600-700 dollar range should cover it.

Thankfully there's a shop here in ATL that can perfectly match Rio. I'm glad they're local. They seem to have found the secret to applying it right so that the color and pearl match in all lighting conditions.
